Freedom with Photography

In this one I chose to try the "manual focus". I like how I got the focus of the droplets in this photo but I would try to improve the sharpness of the backround the next time.

For this photo I used the "Af-S" focus to capture the veins of the leaf clearly. Next time I would try to get more focus and sharpness on the edges of the leaf.

In this picture I have used the "continuous focus mode" to capture the movement of the vehicle. I have noticed that the focus of the vehicle is much better using this focus mode than any other. This image came out slightly orange due to the sunlight. The reflection of the sunlight on the building gave its the effect. The colour orange is the dominance here.

This image worked out really well with the white balance setting I had. I think the light is balanced well and the details are easy to see.

In this image we have a lot of white and brightness. The light is even reflected on the camera and can be seen clearly.

I I have reduced the white balance in this one because it was too bright. Now the shape of the sun is better and more can be seen in the image.

I think it takes the story of the carnival very well. The images are very eye catching and detailed. I liked the costumes as I found them very interesting to look at and I like the bright colours of them. I found this photo essay a good way of getting to know other cultures and events that happen in the world. The photographer places the focus on the outfits which makes us appreciate the design of them more.
